Due to a security update released by Microsoft in April 2026, changes to the warning prompts when connecting to a Remote Desktop or Remote App session appear which may affect your ability to transfer files, copy and paste, and/or print from that session. This change only affects users who connect to J1 Desktop via the installed Start Menu icon.
Recommendation:
When connecting, choose the following settings:
Note: Choosing the remember option will retain the settings themselves, but you will still see this prompt at each connection.
