Overview
HP Click is a software tool that makes the process of printing with poster printer much easier. Within the software, you can easily re-size media and view an accurate preview as to how the final print will look. This method is Olin IT's recommended method for printing with the poster printer. This article briefly outlines how to download, use, and print with HP Click.
Download HP Click
- Download HP Click from https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-click-printing-software/15550865
- If prompted, select your operating system and version and click "Submit"
- On the following page, click on the "Software" heading to expand:
- You should see an entry for "HP Click" and a button that says "Download". Click on the "Download" button
- Navigate to your downloads folder to find the .exe file. It should be named something like HPClick-64bit-Setup-x.x.xx. ( Windows Vesion) Open this file to start the setup
- When prompted to enter an industry, enter Education. All other default settings should be fine
- The automatic search function will likely not find the printer. Click "Add manually" and enter the following IP address: 10.76.200.161. Ensure you are on the "OLIN" WiFi network for this step.
