Instructions for Faculty to email their students
In J1, course rosters and advisee information is separate from the My.Olin.Edu portal. For convenience, we have a link that gets you between the two systems so they work seamlessly together.
Go to https://my.olin.edu
Click on “Academic & Advising” tab at the top of page
Navigate To:
“My Advisees” on the left
“View My Advisees on J1 Web”
Academic Advising Hub > View my advisee roster
Roster opens - Select Students
Select individual students using checkboxes, or
Use “Select All” to email the entire class.
Click Options > Send Communication
Create New Communication – window opens
Your Emails Sent and Received
At the top of the page click on Interaction Inbox
“Open Interaction Inbox” > “My Inbox” opens
Inbox to view incoming emails
Sent to view your outgoing emails
