MacOS GlobalProtect Uninstallation

Body

Although it's recommended to re-install GlobalProtect through your Self Service Application, there may be times where the underlying GlobalProtect files remain between the uninstall and the install which will still cause issues to persist. Below are steps you can perform to completely wipe GlobalProtect from MacOS:

  1. Go to sslvpn.olin.edu
  2. Download the Mac Client
  3. Run it, uncheck Install, check Uninstall, and then run it
  4. In Finder, go to Library > Application Support
  5. Delete the PaloAltoNetworks folder
  6. Reinstall GP through the pkg you downloaded in step 2 or via Self Service
