Computers and laptops that are running Microsoft Windows and are managed by Olin Information Technology can use the self-service Olin Software Company Portal to install a wide variety of licensed software. This tool is part of the Microsoft Intune endpoint management platform. This tool manages several pre-installed software packages, such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Crowdstrike security software. You can use this tool to install optional software, and to update existing software on your computer.
Accessing the Olin Software Company Portal
The Olin Software Company Portal is pre-installed on your Olin Windows computer. You can find it in two places:
1. On your desktop: Double-click the Olin Software shortcut icon on your Windows Desktop.
2. In the Start Menu: Open your Start Menu and click the Company Portal icon (it will be listed alphabetically under "C"):

Installing a Software Package
Using the navigation column on the left, click Apps to show all available Applications.

Click the name of the software package you wish to install. This will show a details page with additional information about the software package. Click the Install button to install the software package.
