If you're Faculty or Staff who needs to install; and sometimes update, software on your Olin laptop, you will need to request this access using the below instructions.
- Right Click on the installer and select "Run with Elevated Access." It may look like the below screenshots depending on your Windows configuration and you may need to click "Show More Options."


- Enter a Business Justification (reason) why you need to install/update the software and hit Send.

- Please submit a ticket through helpdesk@olin.edu or through the online form. If this is not done, we won't be alerted about the request
- Once we approve/deny it, we will email you from the ticket and the system will send you a Windows Notification when it processes. Below is what it will look like and where the Windows Notifications pane is if you're unaware.


- Once you see this notification and it's approved, right click on the installer and click "Run with elevated access" again. You should see the below screen:

- Once you hit Continue, your application installer/updated should open momentarily

- If you receive an error, please let us know through your ticket.
