Our Ansys packages in Company Portal/Olin Software desktop shortcut, has everything conveniently configured for you. If you would like to install Ansy and you don't have Company Portal, please follow the below instructions(s).

Due to the size of the installation, please DO NOT attempt to install this application via a wireless or VPN network connection. Before installing any new version or upgrade, please ensure that you are connected to a live, wired, Ethernet jack on campus and that your wireless network interface is disabled. You will need to un-install any previous version of Ansys before installing the new version as Ansys Workbench will not function otherwise.

Installing Ansys 2024

1. Download the Ansys 2024 files from our Sharepoint here. 
2. Right-click on install.cmd and Run as Administrator
   1. If you receive a Security Warning window, click Run to continue the installation.
   2. Click Yes when it asks to allow the application to make changes to your device.
3. Wait for the download to install, everything will be automatically configured.

Installing Ansys Granta EduPack

1. Download the Ansys Granta EduPack files from our Sharepoint here. 
2. Right-click on EduPackInstall.cmd and Run as Administrator
   1. If you receive a Security Warning window, click Run to continue the installation.
   2. Click Yes when it asks to allow the application to make changes to your device.
3. Wait for the download to install, everything will be automatically configured.
